We recommend children have their first orthodontic screening at age 7. It is never too early or too late to start thinking about orthodontic treatment.

Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, they require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic braces are larger and more brittle than their metal counterparts. For these reasons, ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than lower teeth.

Remote Treatment Monitoring
Using Dental Monitoring’s proprietary software and in home scan attachment for your smartphone, Dr Rim will personally monitor your treatment and minimize the number of in office appointments for those who are unable to attend regularly. It is not recommended to use remote treatment for those who live out of state or who would be unable to attend appointments when the are needed, usually every 2-4 months.
